We'll start with just some fun pictures from around the house. Carly is just about ready to crawl. She's starting to army crawl now, and it's amazing to see how determined she can be. She loves Columbo very much, and likes to touch his head, play with his dog tags, and occasionally pull his ears if we don't catch her in time.
Kim's had a birthday recently, the ___XX___ th anniversary of her 29th. ;) And we went out for dinner. We had our first experience with having a sitter who wasn't a direct family member who was here to visit. Emily is our neighbor across the street. Carly and her had a delightful evening, and she even volunteered to come back! Woo Hooo!!! Perhaps there will be more date nights again.
It's tax time again, and that means that Jason has started working late some nights. Carly is getting some quality Mommy and Me time a few days per week. So far, it appears to be good. They're both excited when Daddy make it home though.
We've also started bathing in the big tub. We were just about ready to move from the baby tub in the sink when our decision was made for us. Carly began learning how to make large splashes, and rather than ruin the cabinets and floor, we chose to move that party upstairs for the rest of say..... ever. She didn't mind the transition one bit. In fact rather enjoyed it, as she got to play with a few more bath toys. She is fascinated by falling water. It's fun to watch her try to catch it and figure out where it's going.
Ususally after bath-time it's story time. Well, depending on how hungry or what kind of mood Carly's in. She really likes to turn pages herself.
Well, that's all for now. We've noticed in our blog list that there will soon be a new addition to the family in Texas!! Congrats from the Schahl house. Take care everybody!!

Yeah, those pics are so cute. Gosh who got her that super cute ernie bath toy, must be her favorite aunt and uncle :) Thanks for the updates, I love them and thanks for alerting me about Andrea's blog last night, go figure the one day I don't blog stalk because I'm sick and look what happens.
