The girls were playing in the spare bedroom and found these sweaters that Aunt Aggie made for me when I was a little girl. That means they are OLD. The girls loved them.
Here they are modeling their "new" little sweaters.
Getting ready to color Easter eggs with Ellie and Isaac at Gram and Bakka's
Carly really enjoyed it....
but Molly wasn't sure what the big deal was. Apparently coloring eggs was the only thing we decided to take pictures of. You'll just have to trust me that the girls looked beautiful in their Easter dresses.
Riding scooters with Isaac in the driveway.
Back at home, Daddy bought a new apple tree and the girls got to help plant and water it.
Bubble time.
Back in Dixon for a little surprise birthday party for Gramma. Carly and Molly really enjoyed hanging out in the wine bar but I suspect it was the company they really enjoyed.
Molly showing Ellie the benefits of a good nap.
Back at home the girls help wipe all of their fingerprints off the door.
A little horsey ride before bed.
Back in IL visiting Aunt Megan, Uncle Brian and Cassidy. (visit Cassidy's blog for lots of great pictures....her mommy is a much better scrapbooker!)
"how much did you pay for this?" Carly and Molly try to help aunt Megan fix up this bike for Cassidy.
Looks a little guilty doesn't she?
Is it obvious which one the dare devil is? Isaac has this super cool gator at his house and I think the girls drove it until the battery died.
Is it just me or does Isaac look scared?
Back in MN the girls are helping Daddy build a shed. Carly thought this wall was great for jumping.
Playing in the puddles.
Lounging in the pool.
Carly's birthday.
It's nice that she let's Molly help open her presents.
I can do it.
Do you need some help (spit)?
Maybe Mommy will hold your hair back. (Turns out a little burnt hair never hurt anyone)
Matching jammies...$20. Matching beanbags...$40. Matching balloons...$6. Movie time with your little sister....priceless.
Carly got a little t-ball set for her birthday. Proving that you can still be a diva and like to play ball.
Good hit!
Time to start priming the siding for the shed.
I realized if I set them on the siding at least there wouldn't be as much on the driveway.
The scrubbing at bath time was a bit more aggressive than usual.
Turns out they are just as good at painting as they are at priming.
Cheese.
Who says cake for breakfast is a bad thing? Carly actually asked this afternoon when it was time for bed and if their would be cake for breakfast tomorrow.
Cheese.
Molly got a really cool new sprinkler for her birthday. Carly LOVES it.
Molly....not so much.
Well that's all for now. Look for future updates on how the shed turns out, painting the girls bedroom and transitioning to big girl beds.
