Catching up

Well as usual mom has been a slacker so we have tons of pictures to share. We've had a busy few weeks, two birthdays, lots of cake, traveling, visitors and matching skinned noses. We'll break this into two posts so you don't get too overwhelmed. Hopefully we'll get them both done tonight.

Upside down Molly.

Molly loves to try new foods, especially if she can feed it to herself.

No more bottles in our house, she loves her sippy cups!

Riding in the car to Gram and Bakka's house for Ellie's graduation party.

We love going to Dixon 'cause we get to spend time with all the cousins. Even Molly got to sit at the little kid table with Carly and Cassidy.

Aunt Megan stayed all weekend at Gram's house too so we got lots of quality time. Helping Gramma make pancakes.

Enjoying the fruits of their labor.

Cassidy getting ready to help Gramma plant (or bury) these flowers.

Carly helping clean up the mess.

Look at these beautiful flowers.

Hanging out with Aunt Megan

Carly trying out the cool kid chair at Aunt Jen's house.

Molly seems a little unsure of it.

Here's daddy wishing he had a few more kids :)

While we were in Dixon we decided to have a little impromptu birthday party for Carly with the Kitsons. Carly loves all things princess.

Here she is trying out her new Tinkerbell umbrella

Since most of the Kitson family was unable to come to MN for Molly's party, she got some presents at Carly's party too.

Carly blowing out her candles.

and enjoying some cake!

Molly enjoying some outside time.

Cassidy, Carly and Emily jumping on Ellie. It's too bad they don't like each other.

A very tired Miss Molly snuggling with Uncle Andrew, although I suspect she's just trying to make Gramma jealous.

Gramma and her little grandgirls on the front porch.

Molly waiting for the Memorial day parade to start.

After a fantastic weekend in Dixon we headed home. Which meant that for Carly's actual birthday we would be in the car for several hours. We decided to stop along the river and enjoy some ice cream and a nice walk. Too bad it was nearly 100 degrees out!

Carly modeling some of her new birthday gear.

Enjoying our first day in the pool this year.

And finally, as mentioned previously Molly really enjoys feeding herself. She generally just likes to hold the spoon and will give it back to you when it needs to be refilled. Lately, however she wants to be more involved. This last series of pictures shows one night's successes and difficulties.

This isn't too bad.

I'm a pro.

Hmmmm

Yep, I got this.

Screw it.

Yummy

I'm sure this will come back to haunt me.
