Well let's get started, here's a brief review of what we've been doing over the past several weeks.
Phase one of the move.

Molly taking a break from all that unpacking to enjoy a book.

When Carly was younger she used to love to climb in this thing. Apparently now she decided to share the fun with Molly.

Molly seems a little skeptical.

"why are we in here?"

Do you see a theme here?

Crazy bath hair

Carly showing daddy her owie. He didn't quite get the picture in time.....but can you tell who's daughter she is?

Cheap entertainment.

Carly helps out with snow removal from our April snow storm.

The girls LOVE their new play area.

After a few rough weeks of sleepless teething nights, Molly now has 3 new top teeth. She loves to chew on everything (including us). She also loves to eat anything she gets to feed herself. Here she is in the early days enjoying some cheese.

More playtime.

Ready to color some Easter eggs.

Are they ready yet?

Looks like Molly's done.

Easter dresses take one.

and take two.

Helping Daddy make waffles for Easter breakfast. The jelly beans are not for the waffles, just a snack while you're working.

It was nice enough on Easter we made a little trip to the park. Here's Molly enjoying her first time in the swing.

The Easter bunny brought Carly some new water colors and finger paints. Interestingly, Jason was the only person whose (work) clothes were covered in finger paint when this event was over.

Molly showing off her standing skills.

We were very excited that our new house has a dishwasher. We had no idea how much Molly would love it.

Speaking of loving things. The yard at the new place is significantly larger than our last house so of course we needed a new mower. Jason took a break from sitting on this only long enough for Molly to have a try. She's a natural.

Uncle Andrew, Bakka and some of their friends came up the end of April to go with Jason to a big swap meet and look at tractor stuff. The girls stayed home, but Bakka found some time to spend with his favorite MN girls.

It was Bakka's birthday so Carly helped make him a cake.

It was so fun to have our first visitors.

Well that's all I have for now, but there is more to come. Aunt Jenn and Nick were here last weekend. Aunt Megan, Uncle Brian and Cassidy are coming this weekend (only one more sleep!) so there will be plenty more pictures to share.

oh my gosh....we cannot wait! No more sleeps...we'll be on the road in less than 5 hours!
Finally!!!! I thought I was checking everyday but I guess I missed a couple. Yay! Molly looks a lot like Carly who looks a lot like mama...so cute!!! Your house looks gorgeous! How's the neighborhood? Once I know what's going on with school (should know in a week or two), I'll make my summer plans. I definitely want to try to make it your way again. Miss you and love you!
Love,
Shell
Congrats on the new house! Let us know if you're coming to Dixon this summer. We'd love a chance to chatch up with you and you could meet Miles, too!
