Wintertime fun part 2

Well tax season is upon us and Jason is working A LOT. The girls and I are having a great time but I have a new appreciation for single moms! Here's some pictures from earlier in January before we got too busy to get the camera out.

Molly loves this baby spoon she borrowed from Cassidy.

Carly loves to paint...so does daddy. It should come as no surprise to anyone that there is a beautifully painted water color tractor on our fridge.

What an angel! This is not posed, just nodded off while reading.

Sometimes Mommy gets to paint too!

A couple of weekends ago our friends Amy and Cristo and their boys came to MN for a visit. They stayed near the Mall of America (because it's more fun than Kasson) and we drove up and spent a Saturday with them. We all enjoyed the rides.

Not a great picture, but doesn't Jason look cute wedged into a big pink dog?

Carly in her big rig.

Molly didn't get to ride any rides this time but she had a great time watching people.

We also got to go to the aquarium. The kids loved it!

Turns out the adults thought it was pretty cool too!

Molly got a chance to break out of her seat.

Waiting in line for the carousel. I wonder what Mommy was looking at.

Here's a picture of the whole group and some random guy who didn't notice we were taking a picture.

What a great time....thanks for visiting Rojas family!!!

Looks like that's it for pictures. Here are a few things the girls are doing that we can't capture on film. Carly continues to do very well with potty training. She's so motivated she even scolds Molly for pooping in her pants. Carly often tells her she needs to go in the potty and that she needs to tell Mommy sorry, but then she says "it happens" gives Molly a hug and a kiss and tells her she loves her. She's an excellent big sister! She can now sing the alphabet and count to thirteen. Well actually she counts all the way to eleventeen (which comes right after 13). She loves to read and do any and all art projects. She also LOVES to wear dresses (which she calls dressies). Nearly every morning Jason has to explain why brown dressy is in the wash or why she can't wear ladybug dressy. She is really becoming her own little person. Molly is also developing her own little personality. She is a very happy girl. Fortunately for us she is not yet mobile...but will be soon I think. She still has no teeth but if the buckets of drool are any prediction they should be here soon too. She loves Columbo and of course she thinks Carly is a rock star. They are great girls and we are very lucky parents (and I'm not just saying that because they are both currently taking good naps).

I think you should send Carly down the street to work with Peyton on potty training. He has no desire or motivation for it and #3 is due in July so now we have a deadline to meet. Glad to see you all doing well, we should go out sometime soon.

Speaking of looking great you look fantastic Kim. Great pictures of those adorable little girls of yours. I always enjoy seeing them. Thanks for sharing. We HAVE to get to your house one of these days, but then I say that and time gets away for all of us. Love you all.
